Corinthians visit Athletico Paranaense at 19:30 on Thursday in the Brasileirão. According to Meu Timao, they are without six players and have one at risk of suspension.

The standout absentees are Breno Bidon and Yuri Alberto. Bidon has returned to field work but has not played since 8 February against Palmeiras after a strain in his right thigh.

The number nine has a grade two injury to his left hamstring after being carried off against São Bernardo on Sunday. Typical recovery for such cases is three to eight weeks.

Kaio César remains out with a problem in the posterior muscle of his right thigh, while left-back Hugo Farias is recovering from a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee.

Beyond injuries, defensive midfielder José Martínez has an agreement to terminate his contract in progress, and centre-back Cacá has been allowed to undergo a medical and finalise a loan to Vitória.

Raniele is one caution from suspension with two yellow cards. If booked on Thursday, he will miss the match against Cruzeiro next Wednesday at 20:00.

This fixture makes up the second round after postponement due to the Supercopa Rei, which Corinthians won against Flamengo.
