Corinthians loan 22-year-old forward Ellen Cristine to Botafogo until end of 2026 season | OneFootball

Corinthians said on Monday that forward Ellen Cristine has joined Botafogo on loan until the end of the 2026 season.

The 22-year-old could face Corinthians in the Brasileirão Feminino and the Copa do Brasil. Botafogo also contest the Copa Rio Feminina and the Carioca.

With limited opportunities at Parque São Jorge, Ellen became the first academy player to debut for Corinthians’ senior side in 2022.

Her progress was halted by a series of injuries, including at least five knee operations. She has not played since September last year, when she featured in a 3-0 win over Taubaté in the Paulista Feminino.

At the club since 2020, the forward has made 12 appearances, all as a substitute, scoring three goals. At youth level she added three in 20 games. She remains under contract with Corinthians until the end of 2026.

Ellen is the second women’s team player loaned out this season, joining midfielder Nicole Marussi, who is with Juventude until December. During the FIFA international window, Emily Lima’s squad continue preparations for the return of the Brasileirão Feminino, with a derby at Palmeiras on 13 at 21:30 at Arena Barueri in round three.
