Corinthians have completed preparations to face Internacional in the final round of the Brasileirão Feminino, with kick-off at 18:00 on Saturday at Fazendinha.
According to Meu Timao, the day began with gym work at CT Joaquim Grava, then a warm-up on the pitch. Head coach Emily Lima oversaw tactical tweaks and set-piece drills.
Lima will be without Andressa Alves, as the number eight began physical transition work on Thursday and remains unavailable. Goalkeeper Rillary has fully recovered from an elbow infiltration and could be selected.
Corinthians are expected to start Nicole, with a back four of Ivana Fuso, Thaís Ferreira, Thaís Regina and Tamires. The midfield features Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio and Vic Albuquerque, with Gabi Zanotti an option, and the attack includes Jaqueline, Belén Aquino, with Jhonson an option, and Ariel Godoi.
Midfielder Vic Albuquerque stressed the stakes, noting it is the most important game of the group phase given the table. She said the team want to finish first to secure home advantage in the knockouts, and they have focused on concentration and analysing Internacional to arrive prepared to win.
Corinthians enter the last round top on 38 points, level with São Paulo. They lead on goal difference and rely only on their own result to end the first phase in first place.
