Corinthians loanee makes debut for Fortaleza

One of the players loaned out by Corinthians was Ryan, who agreed to move to Fortaleza until the end of the season. A few days after the loan was made official, the player made his debut for the new club, with a 1-0 victory against Horizonte in the last round of the first phase of the Campeonato Cearense.

“Thank God, I am very happy to be representing the greatest in the Northeast. May we continue to achieve victories and more victories. I'm very happy. Let's go, Laion! We're together”, said the player after the final whistle in his first match wearing the Fortaleza jersey.

At Corinthians, midfielder Matheus Pereira played his first game as a starter upon his return to the club. He is also on loan, but unlike Ryan, he belongs to Fortaleza. It was the midfielder's second game in this second stint, being the second in a classic match.

As mentioned, Ryan will stay with Laion until the end of the season. Besides the Campeonato Cearense, the club will also compete in the Copa do Nordeste, the Copa do Brasil, and the Série B of the Brasileirão, after being relegated from the top tier of the championship last year.
