Corinthians returned to work on Friday morning at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava after four days off, beginning a training block during the international break. According to Meu Timao, Fernando Diniz led physical and technical sessions geared towards the final 10 rounds of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Players opened with strength work in the gym. On the pitch, they moved through a four-station circuit covering sprints, switches of play and finishing, possession under pressure, and crosses followed by shots. Diniz then split the squad into three teams for an attack against defence exercise.

There were updates on recovering players. Yuri Alberto, in physical transition, completed part of the session with the group. Gabriel Paulista worked on-pitch with the physiotherapy staff.

The international window leaves Corinthians with 17 days without an official match between facing Fluminense and their next outing against Internacional, the club’s longest gap since the 2026 World Cup pause.

Diniz is also without several players on international duty, with Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho and Breno Bidon away with Brazil, and André Carrillo with Peru.

Corinthians are due back in action on seven October at 19:30, visiting Internacional at Beira-Rio in the Brasileiro. They will be seeking to end a run of six consecutive league defeats.
