Corinthians’ poor Flamengo record at Neo Química Arena continues | OneFootball

Corinthians’ 1-1 draw with Flamengo on Sunday, in the eighth round of the Brasileirão, kept their negative home record against the Rio side at the Neo Química Arena. As reported by Meu Timao, the stalemate prolonged a trend at the stadium.

It was the 17th meeting between the sides in Itaquera since 2014, leaving Corinthians on five wins, six draws and six defeats there.

Their last home win over Flamengo came in September 2024, a 2-0 victory sealed by Talles Magno and Romero. Since then the clubs have met three more times at the Arena, Corinthians drawing twice and losing once.

Across those 17 fixtures, Corinthians have scored 17 and conceded 22, collecting 21 points for a 41.18% return.

The draw also stretched Corinthians’ run to seven matches without a win, their longest sequence since Dorival Júnior arrived in April 2025.

After the international window, Corinthians visit the Maracanã on the first of April at 21:30 to face Fluminense in the ninth round of the Brasileirão.
