Corinthians pull out of talks for Flamengo’s Allan

Corinthians continues to keep an eye on the transfer market to strengthen the club for the 2026 season. Even with the squad’s needs, the board remains committed to reducing costs, focusing on deals that do not involve large sums of money. Because of this, the People’s Team has ended talks to sign Allan from Flamengo.

Central do Timão found that negotiations were called off after Flamengo requested a fee for the player’s release, who would have joined Parque São Jorge on loan, just like Matheus Pereira and Kaio César, who have already been made official. However, the department was not interested in paying for the temporary arrival of the midfielder.

At Dorival Júnior’s request, Corinthians is still searching for a midfielder. The club had arranged for Alisson’s arrival, but paying a fee for his release from São Paulo also stalled the deal. The player, in fact, has already returned to training with the São Paulo squad, even after visiting the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center.

The decision not to pay transfer fees is due to Timão’s priority to allocate funds elsewhere. The current focus is on the agreement with Talleres for the purchase of Rodrigo Garro, which could result in a new transfer ban if negotiations are not completed.
