Four Corinthians players returned early to training during the Fifa international break, with Yuri Alberto nearing a comeback.

According to Globo.com, Gabriel Paulista, Zakaria Labyad, Kayke and Yuri Alberto reported to CT Joaquim Grava on Wednesday to step up rehabilitation, while the rest of the squad are due back on Friday.

Of the quartet under medical care, Yuri Alberto is closest to rejoining Fernando Diniz's options. He is in the final stage of treatment for a partial fibrous rupture in his right hamstring and should rejoin group work in the coming days. He is likely to be an option against Internacional on 7 October at Beira-Rio in round 29 of the Brasileirão.

Gabriel Paulista was diagnosed last week with a sprain to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee and was not selected for the match against Fluminense.

Labyad is recovering from a meniscus injury and a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, while Kayke is being treated for an ACL injury to the same knee.

With muscle oedema in his left hamstring, midfielder André Carrillo is in Orlando, United States, with Peru for friendlies during the Fifa break. He is training separately with the ball and is not expected to face the United States on Saturday.

Corinthians have 32 points, are winless in six rounds and sit 14th in the Brasileirão, three points above Grêmio, who occupy the first relegation place on 29.
