Corinthians raise domestic release clause for standout Under-17 midfielder

According to information initially published by Meu Timão on the night of Friday, October 10, Corinthians has made an adjustment to the value of the national release clause for midfielder Lucca Caramico, 16 years old, and one of the main standouts in the club’s Under-17 category.

According to the report, the amount of the national release clause has increased from R$ 10 million to R$ 20 million. It’s worth noting that this amount is linked to the athlete’s salary – following the procedures of Brazilian legislation – two thousand times the player’s remuneration. On the other hand, the international release clause remains at 50 million euros (R$ 320 million at the current exchange rate).

In July of this year, Caramico signed his first professional contract with the club – valid until May 2028. Previously, the contract was set to end in August 2026. Athletes under 18 years old can only sign contracts for a maximum of three years – as determined by Brazilian law and FIFA regulations.

After the Kauê Furquim case in mid-August 2025, Corinthians has been taking precautions regarding the contracts of its top prospects and, so far, has already made changes to the contractual terms of other youth players such as: Nicollas, Léo Amistá, Cristian Júnior, and Gui Amorim.

In 2025, Lucca Caramico is one of the top scorers in the Under-17 category, led by coach Raphael Laruccia, with eight goals and three assists in 35 matches.
