Corinthians’ RCE debt nears R$ 240 million despite payments | OneFootball

Corinthians has updated its RCE repayment data, with R$ 16.4 million paid across the first five months. According to Meu Timao, the outstanding balance nonetheless increased from R$ 224.9 million to R$ 237.4 million due to interest.

The total grew because the debt is corrected by the Selic base rate, and fresh amounts owed to two participating creditors were added. Before the schedule began, the club had estimated R$ 190.8 million, which had already reached R$ 227.9 million by the first instalment.

Giuliano Bertolucci tops the creditor list at R$ 86.9 million, followed by RC Consultoria e Assessoria Esportiva Ltda at R$ 31.4 million and Talents Sports Ltda at R$ 24.5 million. Andre Cury, Adriana Cury and Link Assessoria Esportiva e Propaganda Ltda stand at R$ 21.7 million, with Fair Play Football Association Participações Ltda at R$ 21.5 million. The court-approved plan consolidates civil cases with ongoing enforcement against the club, covering claims from agents, suppliers and players for image rights, among others. Tax liabilities and the Neo Química Arena financing with Caixa Econômica Federal are excluded. In total there are 40 lawsuits involving 23 creditors.

Corinthians has 10 years to settle the RCE debts through progressive monthly instalments based on recurring revenue, at 4% in year one, 5% in year two and 6% from year three. The RCE groups judicial debts into a single schedule to organise payments and lessen the risk of account blocks, offering greater predictability during repayment.
