Corinthians ready for Vitória clash, Breno Bidon previews match

Corinthians completed, on the morning of this Friday, the 24th, their final training session before facing Vitória this Saturday, the 25th, for the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship at Barradão. Timão is seeking its tenth victory in the competition to continue climbing the table – currently, the team occupies 11th place with 36 points, totaling nine wins, nine draws, and 11 losses.

At CT Joaquim Grava, coach Dorival Júnior led an intense session focused on tactical aspects and set-piece plays. After a gym activation and warm-up on the pitch, the squad carried out two tactical drills that explored offensive and defensive variations, as well as positional adjustments during transitions.

Finally, concluding their preparation, the coaching staff also guided the group on specific marking and movement details for simulated game situations. Hours later, the squad traveled to Salvador, arriving in the city around 8 p.m.

Midfielder Breno Bidon spoke to Corinthians TV, previewing the match: “We know it will be a very tough game. We managed to win there (Barradão) with a comeback and it was a really difficult match. The game at the Arena (first round of 2025) as well. I believe it will be a great match with many duels. Whoever makes fewer mistakes will come out with the victory.”
