Corinthians have received a new offer from Fenerbahçe for Yuri Alberto. The bid is slightly below the 22 million euros lodged by Lazio earlier in January, and the club have yet to respond.
AS reports that Atlético de Madrid have the forward on their radar, with sporting director Mateu Alemany evaluating the possibility of a move.
Corinthians own 50% of Alberto’s rights, including 5% tied to agent André Cury, with Zenit holding the rest. The board will only sell in 2026 for at least 20 million euros net for their stake and recently rejected Roma’s 22 to 24 million euro valuation.
Fenerbahçe currently have only two centre-forwards, Jhon Durán is injured and Youssef En-Nesyri has drawn interest and recently rejected Juventus, with Anderson Talisca filling in at times. Türkiye’s window closes on 6 February.
Alberto’s representatives say he has not been contacted about any new proposals and remains fully committed to Corinthians, focused on the Paulista run-in, the Supercopa do Brasil and the Brasileiro.
He hit 19 goals in 58 matches last season, finishing as the club’s top scorer and key in the Paulista and Copa do Brasil triumphs. His overall tally stands at 78 goals and 21 assists in 212 games.
Corinthians face Flamengo in the Supercopa do Brasil on Sunday 1 February at Mané Garrincha, 16:00. Alberto started Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat to Bahia in the Brasileiro opener at Vila Belmiro and is expected to start the final.
