Corinthians reject Las Palmas loan bid for Gui Negão

ESPN reports that Corinthians have rejected a Las Palmas offer for 19-year-old forward Gui Negão.

The Spanish club proposed a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the deal.

Corinthians were not convinced by the structure, with the board currently prioritising sales to improve club finances.

They also viewed the move as offering limited exposure because Las Palmas compete in Spain's second division.

The club cannot register new signings due to four transfer bans, and with Yuri Alberto possibly leaving this window they are avoiding negotiations over another forward, considering the position short on options.

Gui Negão has made 12 appearances this season, totalling 637 minutes and one goal. He is competing with Pedro Raul to be the immediate back-up to Yuri Alberto.
