Yuri Alberto has ended his relationship with his agent, marking the headline development in a busy Friday for Corinthians.

According to Meu Timao, the striker said after the draw with Peñarol in the Libertadores that he had parted with agent André Cury and that his father had become his representative.

CAS rejected Corinthians' argument aimed at avoiding a bonus payment to Philadelphia Union in relation to midfielder José Martínez.

The club, still under president Augusto Melo, had argued it took part only in the qualifying rounds, not the competition itself.

The draw for the next stage will take place on Friday 29 May at 12:00 Brasília time.
