According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have dismissed women’s head coach Lucas Piccinato after a draw with Fluminense in the second round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino.

Piccinato had led the Brabas since 2024, succeeding Arthur Elias after he left to coach the Brazil national team.

With the post vacant, the club are evaluating the market to appoint a replacement as soon as possible.

The shortlist being studied features Emilly Lima, Felipe Freitas and Marcelo Frigerio.

Meanwhile, Corinthians visit Portuguesa at Canindé on Sunday at 20:30, a single-leg quarter-final in the Campeonato Paulista.
