Meu Timao reports that Corinthians have sent a contract renewal offer to forward Memphis Depay. A busy day also brought a fan mobilisation push and a thumping youth victory.
The proposal was made without support from sponsors or partner backers. The operation would be viable with players leaving the squad.

The group SAFiel, which has a proposal to take control of Corinthians, launched its own website to rally backing from the club’s supporters.
With more than 35,000 signatures already submitted, the group views the tally as a sign of fan support for its plan.
On the pitch, Corinthians’ Under-20s beat Avaí 6-2 in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The result moved the side closer to the G8.
