Corinthians sends finance committee member with CBF to Europe

Throughout the month of January, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is preparing a delegation with clubs from Series A and B of the Brazilian Championship for an integration in Europe aimed at conducting studies on major tournaments in Europe, such as those in England, Germany, and Spain.

During this immersion, Corinthians will be represented by Gariel Diniz Abrão, who is part of the Strategic Planning and Financial Restructuring Committee. According to ge.globo, this delegation will stay in London, England, from January 7 to 10. In Germany, from January 11 to 13, and finally, in Spain – January 14 to 16.

In addition to studying the three major leagues mentioned (Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga), aspects such as refereeing and the financial fair play system – initiated by the CBF at the beginning of this year – will also be addressed, with exchanges of experiences between executives, institutions, and companies from these countries.

Representing Corinthians, Gabriel Diniz holds a degree in business administration from Insper and is one of the co-founders of Attivo Group, a holding company founded in 2016 operating in the gastronomy and hospitality sectors. He is the grandson of Abílio Diniz, a historic Brazilian businessman who has passed away.
