Corinthians share behind-the-scenes of win over Mirassol in Brasileirão

Last Saturday, 4th, Corinthians defeated Mirassol 3-0 at Neo Química Arena, earning three points in the Brazilian Championship. Following the victory, the club released behind-the-scenes footage of the match, showing the details of the preparation and the black and white victory.

As usual, the video included images of the players arriving at the stadium and going through the pre-game routine, from physical activation to warming up on the field. During the process, football executive Fabinho Soldado motivated the squad with words of confidence: "Spectacular week of work. Let's have a great game!", he said, while the group shouted words of encouragement. Among the most excited was defender Gustavo Henrique.

In the moments leading up to taking the field, goalkeeper Hugo Souza also stood out for his vibrant motivational speech. "What made us successful in the games was the energy we put into them. The guys can't breathe. We press the ball all the time! And with it, personality", said the goalkeeper, emphasizing the importance of collective intensity.

During the match, Corinthians showed superiority and gained momentum with the goals and decisive plays, which were highlighted in the video released by the club. At the end of the match, striker Yuri Alberto thanked the unconditional support of the Fiel Torcida: "To win again at home... we know it's very important. I want to thank the fans for their support in the last game and, in this game, they showed they were with me regardless of the situation. I want to thank this trust and transform it into gratitude on the field."

Still in the locker room, midfielder Maycon celebrated the team's performance and his own, highlighting the group's effort. "The commitment and dedication of everyone was very great. Happy for the goal, happy for the team's effort. The match was quite difficult and we managed to sustain the game well. I converted the penalty and the team sustained the result. Try to make a sequence at the Arena, which is very important for us", said the player.

With the result, Corinthians moved up the table to 12th place, now with 33 points. The Brazilian Championship is on break due to the Fifa date, and Corinthians' next match is scheduled for Wednesday, the 15th, against Santos, away from home.
