Corinthians held their second session geared towards Sunday’s Brasileirão home match against Chapecoense, kick-off 19:30, focusing on technical work for round 26.

The morning began with strength work in the CT Dr. Joaquim Grava gym, followed by a pitch warm-up, possession play and finishing drills. Afterwards, coach Fernando Diniz split the group into four teams of six for small-sided matches. According to Meu Timao, midfielder Breno Bidon trained as normal while the club opened talks with Besiktas of Türkiye.

The 21-year-old is said to view a switch to Turkish football positively, seeing it as a potential pathway to clubs elsewhere in Europe.

The squad return on Thursday morning and have two further sessions scheduled before facing Chapecoense. Corinthians sit 10th in the table on 32 points.

They are also aiming to halt a run of three league defeats, having lost to Cruzeiro, Coritiba and Santos. Their last Brasileirão win was on 9 August, a 2-0 victory over Red Bull Bragantino at the Estádio Municipal de Bragança Paulista, in round 22.
