Besiktas open talks with Corinthians for Breno Bidon | OneFootball

Besiktas have opened talks with Corinthians over 21-year-old midfielder Breno Bidon during the current window.

Meu Timao reports that Corinthians could lower their initial €30 million asking price, as they need to raise about R$149 million from mid-year player sales. The club hold 90% of Bidon’s economic rights.

Bidon views Türkiye as a gateway into Europe. Newly obtained Italian citizenship means he would not count as non-EU, and he also meets the Turkish league’s under-21 registration quota.

Midfield competition at Besiktas is stiff, with Orkun Kökçü and Wilfred Ndidi among Vincenzo Italiano’s options.

A standout in Corinthians’ Copinha win in 2024, he debuted on 10 March 2024 in a 0-0 draw with Água Santa in the Paulista.
