Corinthians have completed preparations to face Peñarol in the Conmebol Libertadores, with left back Matheus Bidu not travelling to Montevideo. The Group E match is on Thursday at 21:30 Brasília time at Campeón del Siglo.

According to Globo.com, coach Fernando Diniz still cannot call on Memphis, who felt calf pain in recent days despite hopes of a return. He has not played for two months due to a right thigh muscle injury, though he trained fully with the squad as part of his physical transition.

Bidu suffered a sprain to his left ankle against Botafogo in the Brasileiro last Sunday. He remained in treatment at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fabrizio Angileri is expected to start at left back.

A likely Corinthians XI is Hugo Souza in goal, with a back four of Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Fabrizio Angileri. In midfield, Raniele, Carrillo, Breno Bidon and Rodrigo Garro, with André or Allan an option for Carrillo, plus a front pairing of Jesse Lingard and Yuri Alberto.

Corinthians lead Group E on 10 points and are already through to the round of 16. A draw in Montevideo would secure first place.
