Corinthians striker celebrates, targets key Women's Libertadores tie

Corinthians thrashed Boca Juniors and confidently advanced to the semifinals of the Women's Libertadores. One of the authors of the four goals was the forward Jhonson, who has been gaining more and more minutes after a dry spell in the season and had the opportunity to score during her birthday week.

Now, the Brabas will face a classic match ahead, vying for a spot in the grand final of the Women's Libertadores. The game takes place this Wednesday, the 15th, starting at 8 PM (Brasília time), in Argentina.

“The preparation is as good as it can be. We trust our coach, in the work he has been doing, we are very confident. It will be a well-fought match, Ferroviária's team is a great team with excellent players, it will definitely be a great game“, Jhonson added.

After drawing in the debut, Corinthians thrashed Always Ready and narrowly defeated Santa Fe, but returned to thrash in the knockout stage against Boca Juniors. The People's Team is seeking its sixth Women's Libertadores title, to further establish itself as the greatest champion.
