Corinthians take to the court to face bottom side Vasco da Gama in the NBB

Corinthians returns to the court this Saturday afternoon (17th) to play its 23rd game in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) 2025/26. Starting at 4:00 PM, Timão faces Vasco da Gama at the São Januário Gymnasium, in Rio de Janeiro, aiming to recover in the competition.

Under the command of Jece Leite, the black-and-white team is going through a period of fluctuation this season, alternating between wins and losses since the end of December 2025. In the most recent round of the national championship, Corinthians was defeated by Flamengo, the tournament leader, by 94 to 88, in a match held at Maracanãzinho.

In the standings, the club from Parque São Jorge appears in seventh place, with 36 points, and could reach sixth place if they win and São José Basquete slips up. Vasco, meanwhile, occupies the last spot on the table, with 24 points.

Probable lineup

Jece Leite and the Corinthians coaching staff are expected to line up the team with: Davaunta Thomas, Victão, Rafael Munford, Clark, and Lucas Cauê.

The match will be broadcast with images and commentary on the Uol Esporte channel on YouTube and also on pay TV.

Next match

After the clash against Vasco da Gama, Corinthians will play away again. The next challenge will be against Botafogo, at the Oscar Zelaya Gymnasium, starting at 8:00 PM, on Monday, the 19th.
