Corinthians to handle away ticket sales for Flamengo match at the Maracanã | OneFootball

Corinthians will oversee away ticket sales for the 27th-round Brasileirão meeting with Flamengo at the Maracanã on Sunday 13.

Flamengo said in a statement that Corinthians had acquired the entire visiting allocation and would run sales, adding there would be no online sales via Flamengo or box-office sales for the away end.

The number of away tickets was not disclosed. The allocation is expected to be close to 6,000, based on the last league visit when around 10% of capacity, just over 5,900 seats, was set aside for Corinthians supporters.

Corinthians have not yet announced how sales will work via the Fiel Torcedor website, nor the prices. Away fans are usually placed in the South Sector, where Flamengo lists tickets for the general public at up to R$ 140.

Before travelling to Rio, Corinthians host Chapecoense at the Neo Química Arena on Sunday at 19:30 in round 26. On Wednesday 9, they visit Uno in La Plata to face Estudiantes in the first leg of the Libertadores quarter-finals.
