Vitinho completed the full session at CT Joaquim Grava on Friday morning and has been cleared to return, while André trained only in part and remains on a limited programme.

According to Globo.com, there is an internal expectation that André could be available for the decisive meeting with Estudiantes of Argentina next Wednesday at Neo Química Arena, the second leg of the Conmebol Libertadores quarter-finals. Vitinho has recovered from a left knee meniscus injury and awaits the coaching staff’s decision on when he will play.

Friday’s workout opened preparations for Sunday’s trip to Flamengo at 17:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã, in round 27 of the Brasileirão.

Players who logged more than 45 minutes against Estudiantes on Wednesday carried out recovery work indoors, while the rest took part in a 10 v 10 tactical drill under coach Fernando Diniz.

Corinthians will complete training on Saturday morning at CT Joaquim Grava, then travel to Rio de Janeiro. Allan will not be available, the midfielder is on loan from the Rio club and a R$ 2 million fee would be required for him to play. The amount will not be paid, and Diniz is expected to field a rotated side at the Maracanã.

Corinthians are winless in four and sit 12th on 32 points. Flamengo lead the table with 54.
