Corinthians U20s ready to face Luverdense in Copa São Paulo

Corinthians U-20 is ready for its next commitment in the São Paulo Cup. The team finished its preparations this Monday (5th) to face Luverdense-MT in the second round of Group 8 of the competition. The match will take place this Tuesday (6th), at 7:30 p.m., at Zezinho Magalhães Stadium in Jaú, the same venue where Timãozinho defeated Trindade-GO 1-0 in their debut.

Training at Caiçara Clube de Jaú, the squad participated in a session where the athletes were divided into four groups and, guided by coach William Batista, worked on various aspects of preparation, such as the team's offensive moments, organizing the build-up from the back, and improving set-piece plays.

After the session, William Batista spoke about his team. He analyzed Timãozinho's performance in the debut and projected the team's path in the group stage: “We managed to do what was essential for the first game, which is very specific, and we got the win. We are working to evolve within the competition, which presents many circumstances, many variables, and we have to be ready for all of them to advance game by game and achieve our goals.”

In their next commitments for Group 8 of the current edition of the São Paulo Cup, Timão faces Luverdense this Tuesday (6th), at 7:30 p.m. (Brasília time), and wraps up their participation in the preliminary phase against XV de Jaú this Friday (9th), at 6:15 p.m.
