Corinthians v Capivariano: where to watch, team news, line-ups, referee

On the evening of this Thursday (5th), Corinthians will host Capivariano at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena, for the sixth round of the first phase of the 2026 Campeonato Paulista. Currently, the Alvinegro occupies seventh place in the overall standings with eight points (two wins, two draws, and one loss – six goals scored and five conceded). It’s worth remembering that only the top eight teams qualify for the knockout stage.

The club from Parque São Jorge, last Sunday (1st), won their second consecutive Supercopa do Brasil title, defeating Flamengo 2-0 at the Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasília. In the Campeonato Paulista, Corinthians is coming off a 1-0 away win over Velo Clube on January 25th, in the fifth round of the state championship’s first phase.

Probable Lineup and Absences for Corinthians

The Corinthians technical staff will only be without midfielder José Martínez, who is still waiting for the reissuance of his passport in Venezuela to return to Brazil. Meanwhile, key players such as forwards Yuri Alberto and Memphis Depay may be rested in preparation for the Derby next Sunday (8th), at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), for the seventh round of the state championship.

Given this, coach Dorival Júnior is expected to start the match with: Hugo Souza (Felipe Longo); Pedro Milans, André Ramalho, João Pedro Tchoca, Hugo Farias; Charles, Matheus Pereira, Rodrigo Garro, and Vitinho; Kaio César and Gui Negão (Pedro Raul).

The team from the interior of São Paulo, led by Élio Sizenando, may start the game with: Guilherme Nogueira; Diogo Mateus, Octávio, Lomar, and Leonan; Vinicius Guedes, Bruno Silva, and Ravanelli; Mike, Felipe Azevedo, and Rodolfo (Popó).
