Corinthians ran small-sided work at CT Joaquim Grava on Sunday as preparations continued during the FIFA international break, with Yuri Alberto still in on-field transition.

According to Globo.com, the players began with a gym activation before moving to the pitch.

After the warm-up, head coach Fernando Diniz organised a circuit featuring physical work, pressing drills and duels in tight spaces.

In the final block, Diniz split the squad into four teams for intense games on a shortened pitch.

In physical transition, striker Yuri Alberto was on the grass again, joining only part of the session before completing individual work. He is recovering from a right thigh muscle injury sustained on 30 July against Athletico-PR and is expected to return against Internacional in the Campeonato Brasileiro on seven October at 19:30 Brasília time at Beira-Rio in the 29th round.

Centre-back André Ramalho, absent since the first leg against Rosario Central on 13 August due to labyrinthitis, has been training normally with the group.

Sunday’s session did not include Gabriel Paulista, Kayke and Zakaria Labyad, who are recovering from injuries, or Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Breno Bidon and André Carrillo, who are on international duty.
