Corinthians youth defenders sign professional deals with the club

On the afternoon of Monday, October 20, Corinthians published in the CBF's Daily Informative Bulletin (BID) the renewals – signing of professional contracts – of two center-backs from the youth academy. They are: Ronaldo Henrique and Keirrison, both 16 years old, born in 2009.

According to information published by Meu Timão, the value of Ronaldo Henrique's national release clause is R$ 12 million, and the international clause, in turn, reaches 50 million euros (about R$ 321.7 million). Regarding the player Keirrison, the figures were not confirmed by the report.

As they are underage players, according to FIFA and Brazilian National Team regulations, both can only renew their contracts for a maximum of three years – they have not yet been made available on the website of the São Paulo Football Federation (FPF). It is worth noting that, at the moment the athletes sign a professional contract with the club – CLT –, both become more protected legally.

In total, Ronaldo Henrique has 26 games – 15 of them as a starter – wearing the Corinthians shirt for the U-17 team, with three goals scored. Altogether, there are 14 wins, five draws, and seven losses – a 60% success rate. His previous contract was valid until July 2026.
