HLN are reporting that Westerlo have agreed a deal to sign teenage sensation Josimar Alcócer. The Costa Rican is on his way to Belgium to complete his medical before signing for the side. Westerlo will be adding another young talent to the plethora that are already at the club, with the 19-year-old having already been capped four times by the Costa Rican national team. Despite his young age, the winger has already played 68 games for his club side LD Alajuelense, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.

Westerlo have already brought in teenage forwards in Lucas Stassin and Irsan Muric, from Anderlecht and Club Brugge respectively. Of the forward players at the club, Erdon Daci is the oldest and he is only 25-years-old. There is plenty of experience elsewhere in the squad, as the side looks to combine youth and experience.
