Coupe de la Ligue: OL Lyonnes to host Olympique de Marseille in quarter-finals

OL Lyonnes will host Olympique de Marseille in the Coupe de la Ligue quarter-finals on Wednesday the fourth of February in Lyon.
According to Le Progres, the LFFP’s new competition, launched this season, paired Lyon with the promoted side, who are eighth in Première Ligue, and the hosts will go in as favourites.
If they progress, the Fenottes will be away in the semi-final against Dijon, Lens or Nantes on Saturday the 14th of February. Dijon must still confirm their top-seed status in the final group-stage round of this cup, and Nantes will travel in the quarter to either Dijon or Lens.
The teams met on the opening day of the league at Groupama Stadium, where Jonatan Giraldez’s side won 3-1. Marseille made a coaching change in mid-October, appointing Corinne Diacre.
Other quarter-final ties are PSG vs Thonon Evian, Paris FC vs Dijon or Lens, and Dijon or Lens vs Nantes.
The semi-final line-up pits the winners of PSG vs Thonon Evian against the winners of Paris FC vs Dijon or Lens, and the winners of Dijon or Lens vs Nantes against the winners of OL Lyonnes vs Marseille. The final is on Saturday the 14th of March in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
