Coventry City have completed the signing of teenage forward Sidiki Cherif from Fenerbahce on a long-term contract.
The 19-year-old joined the Turkish club on loan from Angers in February 2026 in a deal that included an obligation to buy, scoring three goals during his spell in Turkey.
Cherif also gained European experience, featuring in the Europa League and Champions League qualifiers before completing his move to Coventry.
Born in Guinea, Cherif began his career in France with Angers, making his professional debut during the 2023-24 season. He helped the club secure promotion to Ligue 1 in 2024 before establishing himself in the French top flight.
The forward made a strong start to the 2025-26 campaign, scoring four Ligue 1 goals by the end of December and attracting interest from clubs across Europe.
Cherif has represented France at Under-16 and Under-21 level and now joins Frank Lampard's newly promoted Coventry side.
