Craig Bellamy names Wales squad for Nations League games | OneFootball

Wales manager Craig Bellamy has named his squad ahead of the extended international break as his side returns to the top flight of the Nations League.

The Dragons have four difficult games coming up starting with Portugal at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon on September 24th. Two games with Denmark will follow, which will be punctuated in the middle by the visit of Norway.

Bellamy's side will have to face some of Europe's most deadly attackers without experienced defender Joe Rodon as well as promising Cardiff City talents Dylan Lawlor and Ronan Kpakio at the back.

Leeds United forward Harry Wilson is back in the squad as is Wes Burns, who dropped down to League One when he joined Leicester City this summer.

One fresh face is Cardiff attacker Cian Ashford. The 21-year-old has earned his first call-up to the senior team after two goals and two assists from nine games in all competitions for his side so far this season.
