Indeed, the former Napoli playmaker has gone from strength to strength this term, re-establishing himself as one of Europe’s best midfielders.

Cristian Chivu was unable to call upon Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu for yesterday’s trip to Cremona.

However, Zielinski excelled in their absence, delivering another outstanding performance.

For starters, the Polish ace scored yet another headline-grabbing strike to double Inter’s lead midway through the first half.

Indeed, his stunning left-footed effort from well outside the box caught Cremonese goalkeeper Emil Audero off guard.

Moreover, Zielinski emerged as Inter’s driving force in the engine room, overshadowing Petar Sucic and Davide Frattesi.

As a result, he has now netted four goals in 20 Serie A games this season.
