Cristiano Ronaldo showed his frustration at repeated stoppages involving Nabil Emad Dunga during league leaders Al-Nassr’s Saudi Professional League meeting with Al-Najma.
According to Goal.com, Dunga was hurt in a 26th-minute challenge with Abdullah Al-Hamdan and spent over two minutes receiving treatment. When the referee called for an ambulance, the midfielder then stood up and asked to walk off unaided.
The sequence irritated Ronaldo, who urged the ambulance driver to clear the pitch quickly, keen to avoid further lost time.
Shortly after returning, Dunga went down again in the 32nd minute and requested treatment, further angering Al-Nassr’s captain.
The Egyptian joined bottom-placed Al-Najma in the winter window and has become important in their fight against relegation. He arrived from Zamalek, and Al-Najma are looking to use his experience to stay up.
