Cristiano Ronaldo has slipped into holiday mode back in Madeira with fiancée Georgina Rodriguez and their children. According to Goal.com, the family have picked the Atlantic island as their favourite break in 2026, and a viral clip captures the Al Nassr forward unwinding.

The footage shows Ronaldo laughing as he speeds down a balloon slide, steering a car over the sea and riding a jetfoiler, a board that lifts above the water.

Returning to Funchal is also personal for the 41-year-old, a nod to his upbringing in the Santo Antonio neighbourhood. He has often reflected that money was scarce and life was hard during those early years.

Ronaldo has time with his family after being left out of Portugal’s latest squad, announced last Friday, for friendlies against Mexico and the United States as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

He sustained a hamstring injury on 28 February against Al-Fayha in the Saudi Pro League.
