Crystal Palace have decent chance of landing Chelsea attacker in the January window

Crystal Palace have a pretty decent chance of landing one Chelsea attacker in the January transfer window, in my view.

As we approach the winter window now, more and more rumours will start to surface and many different situations could start bubbling up.

EXCLUSIVE! When Cole Palmer is expected to return to the Chelsea squad – plans laid out!

December is now right around the corner, and that will present the busy festive period ahead of the next transfer window opening up in January.

Clubs will be looking to cover any injuries to players, sell some players, and/or bolster and improve their squads for the rest of the season ahead.

Chelsea could certainly sell a player or two, and one of those is Tyrique George, who actually came close to leaving in the summer window to join local neighbours Fulham. That deal fell through and George ended up staying at the club – but I’d be shocked if he stays past January now.

Palace keen on George

George is attracting interest ahead of the winter transfer window, with Crystal Palace interested in securing his signature, according to The Mirror.

It’s unclear at the moment whether Fulham will go back in for him again, but it looks like he will have another opportunity to leave Chelsea.

I believe he will go

If the opportunity is there, I believe George will leave Chelsea in January. Liam Delap is fit again, and George is not going to be starting on the wings. He will then be behind Delap and Joao Pedro. So unless Chelsea want to keep him for deep cover, I can only see him leaving the club in January.

He needs to play anyway and play as much as possible for his own career, so he’s not going to get that if he stays at Chelsea at this point.
