Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves in a club-record transfer worth up to £48 million.

The 25-year-old Norway international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at Selhurst Park and will wear the number 22 shirt.

Palace had been tracking Strand Larsen since last summer, when he was also the subject of interest from Newcastle, before the striker opted to extend his stay at Molineux.

Strand Larsen had been widely tipped as a potential replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, but with the Frenchman’s proposed move to AC Milan collapsing late on, the pair are now expected to play together.

After arriving in England from Celta Vigo, Strand Larsen settled quickly at Wolves and scored 14 Premier League goals in the 2024/25 campaign, playing a key role in steering the club away from relegation trouble.

Palace will be hoping he can provide a similar impact, with Oliver Glasner’s side currently enduring a difficult run of form and without a win in 12 matches in all competitions.
