Crystal Palace have set a £25 million asking price for Colombian international Daniel Munoz, according to journalist Pipe Sierra.
The Eagles’ willingness to sanction a potential exit has sparked immediate interest across the Premier League, with Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, and Nottingham Forest all making approaches to understand the financial conditions required to sign the defender.
Everton have emerged as the most aggressive suitors in the race for Munoz’s signature. Toffees manager David Moyes has made signing an experienced right-back his top priority to replace Seamus Coleman.
Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the Colombian’s availability after recently approving Djed Spence’s departure.
Nottingham Forest also represent strong competition, driven by manager Oliver Glasner’s desire for a swift reunion.
Having previously managed Munoz during his successful tenure at Selhurst Park, Glasner remains a staunch admirer of the ‘unbelievable’ 30-year-old.
Munoz has established himself as one of the most productive wide defenders in English football since joining Crystal Palace from Genk in January 2024.
He recorded five goals and four assists in 44 appearances across all competitions, helping Palace secure UEFA Conference League silverware in May for the club’s first piece of continental success after their FA Cup triumph one year prior.
With Palace already having secured a direct replacement in Israeli wing-back Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise, new Eagles manager Pierre Sage and the club’s board are comfortable approving Munoz’s departure, provided their valuation is met.
After helping Colombia reach the World Cup last 16, Munoz recently returned to pre-season action in Palace’s 3-0 defeat to Freiburg on Saturday.
