CSKA Moscow ‘table’ $11m bid for Brian Rodríguez

With the Liga MX window closed on Monday, América’s squad looked set for Clausura 2026 and Concachampions, but Americayya.net reports that CSKA Moscow have lodged an $11m offer for Brian Rodríguez.

The bid has only just reached Coapa and is yet to receive a response.

The hierarchy and coaching staff do not want to lose the winger, although the size of the proposal means the final decision will rest with the player.

A departure at this stage is viewed as unlikely. Six months ago he also received a lucrative offer from Al-Rayaan of Qatar, which was rejected before his contract was renewed.

On that basis, the most likely scenario is that this offer is rejected and Rodríguez stays at least for the rest of the season.

For now, Rodríguez will travel with the squad to Guadalajara to face Chivas on Saturday.
