Čvančara joins Celtic on loan from Gladbach with option to buy

Tomáš Čvančara has joined Celtic on loan from Borussia Mönchengladbach for the rest of the season, with an option to buy.

According to BuLi News, his loan at Antalyaspor in the first half of the campaign was terminated early.

Sporting director Rouven Schröder said Gladbach were pleased to have swiftly arranged a solution that suited everyone after that arrangement was cut short.

He described signing for the club as a major honour, said he is ready for the challenges ahead, and that he will do everything he can to bring success for supporters. He also called Celtic one of the great names in world football and said he was delighted to play his part.

Čvančara remains under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach until 2028.
