Danilo double propels Botafogo into 11th after VAR drama | OneFootball

Botafogo beat Grêmio 3-2 at the Nilton Santos, rising from 14th to 11th in the Brasileirão.

In the 30th minute, Danilo swept into the top left from Álvaro Montoro's break. Jovane Cabral levelled with a free-kick from distance (36.).

After the restart, Fogão went back in front when Vitinho's cross was turned in by Montoro (52.). Danilo then steered in his second from Montoro's pass to stretch the lead (79.).

Tricolor Gaúcho set up a tense finish as Gustavo Martins glanced in Tetê's delivery (88.). In the first minute of second half stoppage time, Carlos Vinícius had a goal ruled out after a VAR review.
