Danny Ings signs for Wycombe after Leicester City move falls through | OneFootball

Danny Ings has joined League One Wycombe Wanderers after a proposed summer switch to Leicester City collapsed.

The 34-year-old was close to a July move to the King Power after leaving Sheffield United, with a medical expected and a place in Russell Martin’s squad anticipated.

Leicester instead moved on, signing Admir Bristric from Olimpija Ljubljana in August and Emil Riis on deadline day.

Ings has linked up at Adams Park, adding to an attack that already features Cauley Woodrow, after Jayden Wareham arrived before the window closed. He also reunites with Tom Stockwell, Wycombe’s Director of Football and Data Intelligence, having worked together at Southampton, where Ings scored 46 goals.
