Rangers have officially announced the appointment of Danny Röhl as their new head coach.

The Scottish club dismissed Russell Martin in early October after a challenging start to the season. Currently, Rangers sit sixth in the Scottish Premiership. The German tactician, previously at Sheffield Wednesday, commented:
It’s an immense privilege to lead such an incredible club, renowned worldwide. Expectations are huge and I relish this challenge.
Röhl succeeds Martin and will be tasked with steering the club back on track in this demanding campaign.
