A date and kick-off time has been confirmed for City’s FA Youth Cup final against Aston Villa.

We will face the Midlands side at 15:00 (UK) on Monday 5 May at Villa Park.

Oliver Reiss’ side know that victory will ensure a successful defence of the most prestigious trophy in academy football and a fifth FA Youth Cup triumph in our history.

City have been imperious in this competition so far this season, scoring 19 goals in five matches and conceding just twice.

Our run to a second successive final began with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace before emphatic 5-1 and 6-1 defeats of Millwall and Leeds respectively.

We followed that up with a 6-0 demolition of West Brom before Matty Warhurst’s early goal was enough for us to sneak past Watford in a semi-final encounter at Vicarage Road earlier this month.
