Federica D’Auria has renewed her contract with the Women's First Team, committing her future to the Bianconere until 2029. She has spent three seasons on loan at Cesena and Lazio.
She shared her thoughts after signing the deal: “I’m really excited. Ever since I was a little girl, my goal has always been to wear the first-team shirt. Coming back here is really special for me; I feel at home here. I hope to repay the trust placed in me by the Director and the whole club.”
“I believe these past seasons have helped me enormously to grow and gain the experience I needed to return here, which has always been my ultimate goal. Today, I am more aware and mature as a player, and I feel ready to make my contribution to the team.”
"There are inspiring ideas, and the coach's influence on our style of play and our determination to always be key players really gives us a huge boost. I already knew many of the girls from the national team; I grew up alongside [Eva] Schatzer, for example, but overall I’m really enjoying myself. We’re a great squad that works very well together."
“For me, the priority is to improve day by day: I prefer to set myself daily goals rather than long-term ones. I want to do my very best to be of use to the team, to learn from the great players here and from the manager. And to bring us all some real satisfaction this season.”
“My advice is to respect your own pace. When I was younger, I thought I had to make the leap from the Primavera straight away, but I just needed to follow my own path to mature and gain experience, and that’s what has brought me this far. The secret is to work hard, without ever stopping having fun.”
