Jorgen Strand Larsen’s difficult season at Wolves has been followed by fresh interest from a Premier League rival.

According to David Ornstein, West Ham want the Wolves striker on a permanent deal, and their forward Niclas Fullkrug is in talks to join AC Milan on loan.

The Norway international has only one Premier League goal this season. Supporters sarcastically cheered when he was substituted against Manchester United, and his attitude and language have been questioned online.

On Saturday he missed a late penalty against Brentford, a tame effort that prompted chants against him from sections of the away end.

Newcastle United made two bids in the summer, but Wolves refused to sell. There are said to be other suitors, and there is no guidance yet on a fee or the player’s stance.
