David Verwilghen ‘to join’ Anderlecht as director of recruitment

La DH reports that David Verwilghen, 37, will leave RAAL La Louvière to become Anderlecht’s director of recruitment. Anderlecht are fourth in the Belgian top flight.

Verwilghen is currently sporting director at RAAL.

He has been with the club since 2020 and helped secure promotion to the first division this summer.

Anderlecht’s hierarchy were impressed by his profile as a rising young executive.

They convinced him to make the move during the season.
