Famalicão beat Estoril 1-0 at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, consolidating fifth place and condemning the hosts to a fifth straight league defeat.

In the third minute, Sorriso was denied by Martin Turk, who tipped the forward's effort away from the top corner.

Gil Dias then drew a penalty after a foul by Francisco Ferreira (48.). Justin De Haas converted from the spot with a left-footed strike down the middle (51.).

Lazar Carevic preserved the lead soon after, saving João Carvalho's drive from outside the box (53.). In the second minute of second half stoppage time, Turk saved Gustavo Garcia's header to keep Estoril in it to the very end.

Famalicão were clinical, putting all six of their attempts on target. Estoril saw 54.4% of the ball and won nine corners but managed only two shots on target from nine attempts.
