Ostia Mare currently compete in Serie D, specifically in Girone E as the fourth tier of Italian football is regional. They currently sit in 14th place in the league table after 20 matches of the 2024-25 season.

This will be De Rossi’s first official involvement in football since he left his beloved Roma midway through September.

Ostia Mare will next be in action against US Poggibonsi in Serie D on Sunday.
